Resetting remote control codes
■ Resetting all remote control codes
You can clear all remote control codes (including functions learned
from other remote controls [China, Korea, U.K. and Europe models
only]) and restore the default settings.
• The settings for controlling playback devices after selecting a scene (p.50) will be
also cleared.

Press CODE SET using a pointed object such as the
tip of a ballpoint pen.
SOURCE/RECEIVER blinks twice.
Perform each of the following steps within 1 minute.
Otherwise, the setting will be canceled. In this case, repeat
from step 1.

Press SOURCE/RECEIVER.

Use the numeric keys to enter “9981”.
Once the remote control codes are reset successfully,
SOURCE/RECEIVER blinks twice.
If it blinks 6 times, resetting failed. Repeat from step 1.

Press one of the following keys to select the device
for which key assignments will be cleared.
For playback device: press the input selection key.
For TV: press TV .

Use the numeric keys to enter “9991”.

Press the key that you want to reset.
Once the key assignment is cleared successfully,
SOURCE/RECEIVER blinks twice.
If it blinks 6 times, clearing failed. Repeat from step 2.

Repeat step 4 until all desired key assignments are
cleared.

tip of a ballpoint pen.
SOURCE/RECEIVER blinks once.
