Switching the On-Screen Display

You can select whether On-Screen Display messages such

as PLAY and STOP will be displayed or not.

At the initial settings screen

Press )/* to select “4 On-Screen Messag-

es” and press SELECT.

Press )/* to select the preferred item

(1 or 2) and press SELECT.

Setting is finished and the initial settings screen is displayed.

press SELECT.

(1–3) and press SELECT.

Setting is finished and the initial settings screen is displayed.

For your reference:

ÁEven if “3 Dim During DVD/VCD Play (Auto)” is selected,

the display resumes brightness when a button for special

play such as SLOW/SEARCH and STILL/PAUSE is

pressed.
